Wow Gra! That is great!

Can I ask why you quit the week before Christmas?

I just wonder because Christmas is party time and I just would have found that too hard myself? Congratulations though best Christmas present you could give yourself.:)

thankyou all

haze the week before christmas was simply because i was paying a premium for old stock that tasted like crap and was making me physically sick put simply it was costing me a fortune to be a slave and getting no payoff from it whatso ever as for the party time well unfortunately for me christmas time is not a party time for me its the worst time of the year there are no parties and no christmas lunch or dinner for that matter anyway side tracked there

so yes hate christmas and hate paying the government bucket loads of money ($20 per packet for tax)

cheers

Gra the count down

Got to say that is impressive. 21,800 cigarettes is equal to 1 cigarette 1.25 miles long.

not sure how this works but my counter today says

Eleven months, four weeks, 14 hours, 43 minutes and 20 seconds. 21876 cigarettes not smoked, saving $12,469.77. Life saved: 10 weeks, 5 days, 23 hours, 0 minutes.

confused

i understand about most months having like 4 and a half weeks in them but i would have thought a calender year is a calender year 365 days

cheers

2 more days!!!

Hi Gra

I think your calendar's ok. Since December has 31 days it will go to 4 weeks and 3 days. Since today's the 17th two more days and you hit the year:)

I'm sure if we sat down and calculated it, 30 days hath September etc it will add to 365 days but 366 for this year since it's a leap year.

You've done so well Gra

Hi Gra

Your anniversary will be at 12:00 am, on 19/12/2012.

That will be a calendar year after you stopped.

So a couple more days or so to go.

52 weeks is 52 x 7 days, which is 364 days.

As you know, most years have 365 days, while leap years have 366 days. So:

"normal" years will have 52 weeks and one day (364+1 = 365)

leap years will have 52 weeks and two days. (364+2 = 366)

Some people think that in fairy tales, when the hero returns after "a year and a day" that this refers to:

364 days of a 52 week year,

plus one extra day to make it a full year

So really, the hero returns after one year.

as pointed out i got the date wrong i dont know why i keep thinking the 16th when its actually the 19th ooops my bad

cheers
