Hi Bev,

Congrats on getting to week 3. Hopefully you will get the same positive results that I have had on my quit.

As per my 6 week post, I've spent years feeling tired, turning over for another 30 mins in bed, always putting off what can be done today until tomorrow.

I have been in and out of the gym on and off for years, always eat 5 a day, etc, but still always felt tired, and didnt know why. I went to the doctors some years ago about it, and he said "give up smoking" but of course, I refused to believe that my cherished B&H Gold could be the cause of such evil, after all, what did the doctor know, lol.

Anyhows, congratulations and before you know it, your'll be posting in the 2 month forum about how great your feeling. Can't help with the looks though, although perhaps quitting makes females look younger than us blokes? ;)

Right bev,

we know the game plan for this week.. take each day as it comes, if things start to build up on your break them down into chunks so you can manage them and if you can't on your own, ask for help if its possible.

Week 3 has alot of hype surrounding it which is only partly justified.. don't worry on the week number.. and the rumours.. just put your mind to keeping things running as smooth as you can without getting worked up over it.

Treat every day like just a normal day.. if something a bit  starts to happen, just realise that no matter whether you were a smoker or non-smoker, that problem would be not better or worse for either,

you'll cope just fine but try to limit yer wine this week.. perhaps a glass or so at the end of the week as a milestone marker eh?

Good luck for the week ahead.
