God I'm craving so bad!

Just spent ages arguing on the phone to CSA and then to ebay (don't ask)

And christ I need a fag. I won't, I know I won't. But doesn't stop me wanting one sooooo badly... this is not a 5 minute crave, this is an allll dayyyy crave. Argh!

stick it out, breathe deep, remember your reasons, post on here, eat cake, go for a walk, have a hot bath, do WHATEVER you have to, but get through the next hour without smoking. Keep doing that.

In the morning I promise you, you will feel proud for making it through such a tough day, you'll feel stronger, you'll be ready to hold your head up and keep going.

Cave in now and you'll just feel crappy, and defeated, and miserable, and back to square one - you can't go there! Plus, all the stuff that's stressing you is still going to be there. Breathing smoke in and out doesn't fix ANYTHING!!!

We've all been there mate. In times of stress we've taught ourselves to think that cigarettes are our friend, it can bring out the worst cravings. But it's not true - fags don't improve bad situations or enhance good ones. And if you stick this out the time will come when the worst, most stressful days imaginable can come along and you don't even think about smoking. I know that seems incredible, but it's true true true.

Dont give your crave any hope....its hard I know but if you give in you will go back yo smoking and a week down the line you,ll want to stop again and have to start from th begining,,,its a vicious circle you have to break and you can.

Noo you don't need a fag, it's just those little demons in your head saying you do. You have just beat a massive trigger and if you can get through bad ones like this you can beat all of them.

Nearly caved in myself yesterday - I did not think anything could get any worse BUT, I didn't have a fag and I am so glad today that I didn't. Still craving a bit but nothing like yesterday. It really is a day at a time with this thing.

I would have felt rubbish today if I'd smoked yesterday. And I would be back on that whole denial/rationalisation roundabout.

Get through this and you'll be so much better equipped to deal with the next heavy thing.

I did have a dream last night that I had a cig and felt soooo guilty and ashamed and annoyed at myself - so glad that I didn't!!

Good for you bloodbinds! So proud that you resisted the demon. You will be better prepared for the next one. Yes...that is only the beginning. But, you are stronger than the urges and will laugh at them before you know it.
