Yep, its 4 years today.

Not one puff since 12th Sept 2008. For me, and this always causes disagreements on here, one puff and you're not quit and so the counters reset. Anything else and you're in danger of thinking that an occasional puff is ok, which leads on to more and more and then before you know it you are a smoker again.

In short you are only quit since you last smoked.

This is only my opinion and I don't want anyone to think I'm trying to preach or belittle.

I'm happy to be still here because this has been a year of massive stress in my life both personal an professional. Life has changed a lot but one thing is the same.

I don't smoke.

4 years - wow. That is incredible.

Do you still get cravings?

That's a great achievement, Stuart. I know for me that one puff would send me back down the path of smoking so I will try to be steadfast in avoiding 'just the one'.

Thank you.

Cravings? No, honestly not for a very long time. Occasional thoughts of smoking that catch me unawares sometimes is all.

Finish a meal and people go out to smoke and you almost join them before realising... Momentary thoughts that make you feel stupid for forgetting you dont do that anymore!

But cravings? No, not for ages. :)

Very awesome Stuart, I know it's easy now but doesn't matter, still deserves a big congrats and well done :)

I don't smoke.

Awesome achievement, and I agree with every word above. One puff and you are starting over.

And, like you, it's just my opinion; others may have different ideas. They're wrong, of course, but they can have different ideas. (Sarcasm button invoked here.) :)

No little dance this time... Maybe for 5 years, or 10? But I'm still biking when I can, which hasn't been much this year to be honest. How about you?

Bernie :D its so good to hear you're still keeping on too!

Everyone else.. Thank you so much. Smoking.. How much of a mug were we?
