Another trigger disappeared..

Just a thought I had...... I've just cut the grass (second time this week!) and realised about half an hour after the event, that my "fag after the mowing's done" trigger did not materialise! I got a touch of it the first time I cut the lawns earlier this week, but today, nothing at all. The "smoke halfway through then after the ironing" one's been gone a week or two too.

And on top of that, I used to be breathless by the time I got the mower started (an old petrol pull-cord job, very temperamental but great once it gets going) as it was such a slog but now, no problem, job done, feel ready to do a few more bits rather than needing recovery time :)

So to anyone starting out, and this is only speaking for myself, it HAS GOT BETTER!!! :D

Congrats, AngryBear!

I've been in quite a few trigger situations by now and I can definitely say if you manage to get past the first time, it gets so much easier the next time. I guess it's just a matter of showing yourself you can very well do certain things or be in certain places without a cigarette. Once you've learned that it's much easier!

Hey Bear I can't believe how you have come on in under two month. Can see you are going to crack this and well deserved.

Aitch & Karri, thanks for that, feeling good at the moment but not being fooled into complacency don't worry! :) it's still a day at a time, I just don't miss it much at the moment. My choice is not to smoke and I'm happy with that, it's not a chore and hasn't been for a few weeks now!
