In a relatively great mood today! The breathing exercises helped a lot this morning! I was reading about a 4-7-8 method
Exhale completely through your mouth, making a whoosh sound.
Close your mouth and inhale quietly through your nose to a mental count of four.
Hold your breath for a count of seven.
Exhale completely through your mouth, making a whoosh sound to a count of eight.
This is one breath. Now inhale again and repeat the cycle three more times for a total of four breaths.
There's plenty out there but this one works very well to get rid of anxiety for my situation!
Also today I was filling out job applications and usually I would get discouraged about a job if you weren't allowed to take breaks to smoke. Or even smoke on the property! But I usually lied and said I was a non smoker, then if I'm working a long stressful day, not having a cigarette would make the day 10 times worse!
But now I'm non smoker and I can truthfully tell the employer I don't smoke. I don't have to worry about drenching myself in perfume and worried that maybe they can smell cigarettes mixed with perfume. I'll definitely save on my fragrances because I was so concerned with people recognizing I was a smoker, I would use so much!
