Greetings all,

I'm new to this forum, so I thought I'd say hello. I've been planning a quit for a while now, and have been lurking in the background reading posts, gaining motivation and inspiration.

It's D-Day and I'm going cold turkey, although I do have back-up in the form of some patches...just in case.

Wish me luck, and I hope to post again very soon.

Firstly with a name like that I expect you to make me chuckle in my pants!

Secondly, good luck in your quit. It really is so worthwhile. I feel so much better for not smoking and after a while you're not thinking about it all the time. Just push past the initial stages and it gets easier.
