hi everybody good to be here. now on my 4th day of using the lozenges and they seem to be working ok. been using way too many though like 24

a day. must get this under control. need to be using half that amount. they are the 2mg ones though and not the 4mg . i think i am going to have to time them to one an hour.

Good morning pfaber. Glad to see you moved into the 3rd month club also. Sorry that you are still having problems with the quit. At this point I am brginning to think that maybe you should try cold turkey. It is totally up to you but the nicotine should be out of your system so no reason to continue the crush (as I call them). That is just my thought, take it or not, but just don't be mad at me. I know that each quit is different and you need to do what is best for you!!! ppat

hi ppat . i have one box of lozenges to get through then i am hoping i will be ready to go cold turkey. at the rate i am consuming them this will be in 4 or 5 days time . i will be back. and no you did not upset me .

Helloooo 3rd month.......well I really really didn't think I would be posting this!

I'm so proud of myself and you all should be too.

I was using those inhalator things but not touched it for 2 weeks.

Today, I came the closest to wanting a smoke since I quit 3 months ago. I found out that a friend died. I was asking about him because he hadn't been around, and then I hear he died. I was so upset I looked at the OH's smokes and almost grabbed one. But, I am glad I didn't....it sure wouldn't of brought my friend back....ppat

Thanks for the support, I still have bad days and I still crave like mad but the money I've saved, the nice things I have instead outweighs smoking & I smell nicer now.
