Good morning all 2weeks today. Im feeling a tad anxious as driving down to Norfolk today and not been for a while. But i will let you know i have arrived safely. No fags have been lit and i know i will not be lighting up because i dont want one i have my mints. Xtra strong. Jacqui

Thanks everyone. And yes i used to smoke in the car. But not anymore because I DONT SMOKE NOW. I got to Norfolk ok seen my dad had a great chat staying over. And i am so pleased i have seen him. Will be popping in with some clothes for him tomorrow morning. And i saw my sister and thats been 12yrs since i last saw her. Anyway hope i havent bored anyone. Its good to share stuff on here. Lisa did you ever read my thread on the perils of smoking......... I'd got lip gloss on..... was driving along.....lit up a fag.....n nearly swallowed the lot as it slid in my gob.......SMOKING IS DANGEROUS lol :eek:

Holy fag peril michelle!!!! Tis dangerous to be sure!! I'd see other people driving and smoking and just wonder how they did it. I just used to think if I dropped a cigarette what the hell would I do?????? Burn my butt off.

I just remember having a ciagarette in my ex's jag the once with the window open so as to limit the fag smell in the car. Well I was flicking ash out of the window and the wind took the fag and sent it into the depths of the back of the car. My boyfriend was going ape shit cos it was still burning away and burnt into the leather upholstery at the back....I felt so bad at the time...but now he's my ex....ah well whatever!!!!

Sometimes I really wanted a cigarette whilst driving but was so scared that I'd drop it that I never did. I can't believe you nearly swallowed a lit one!!! Glad I don't have to think about it now.

A few years ago I was starting work on a new account (with new people in a new office). At the end of the first day, I put my coat on and there was a fag butt on the shoulder and a singe mark underneath (it had been on the back of my chair all day). Back in the car was a bloomin great melted hole in my seat - the fag must have blown back in after being chucked away!!!. I must have looked a real classy addition to the account that first day!!!!
