I must be the worst person of all time for stopping smoking.

Yep once again i am back on the nicodemon sticks even though I know they are poison.

Think i crawl into a corner and hide my head in shame, I just can't do it. I am usless.

Start off with good intentions and then it all goes down hill.

Aww don't say that, no you're not. We've all been there & done that & even got the t-shirt! I failed a whopping 36 hr quit recently but the important thing to remember is that although we may have succumbed to this nasty habit again, its imperative to get back in to it again before all resolve to stop wanes completely. No pressure tho :p

Seriously, you can do it. Stop telling yourself you can't. Trust me I hear you loud and clear, I am kinda struggling to stick to a quit date but you know what? Stand next to that cigarette & ask yourself: who's stronger? You, or that sly, trickster of a so called "friend" that brain washes you in to believing you need him? (yes, its a him :p)? No, must stand our ground and tell it to sod off where the sun don't shine.

You can do it :)

Your not a looser, everyone that is on this forum is a winner regardless.

Dont beat yourself up about it. Been there got the T shirt, just keep on trying every quit is a quit regardless if its a day or months its minus cigerettes you would have had. At least you are trying now and thats all anyone can do. The biggest part is acknowledging your habbit and deciding to make the change and do something about it. You have done so well already. Each quit you learn something new and its does make you stronger untill one day and one quit it will stick.

Just take it a day at a time, you can do it and we all will support you :)

getting down on yourself only takes you further away from your goal of quitting. be proud of yourself for trying and keep on trying and you will succeed big time! all the best!:D

your not a looser quiting smoking is not easy.

maybe you need a little help.

NHS Quit Group is good, I got a leaflet at the doctors.

Made an appointment you have a chat with some one maybe a nurse usaully some one who has quit smoking who can encourage you.

You blow in a tube at every appointment might be once a week or once every 2 weeks.

Basically they can tell if you have smoked.

They can give you a presciption if needed.

This was me nearly 5 years ago just like you now.

People at work said i was the last person on earth who they thought could quit.

When i had my last appointment at 5 months with the nurse i cried when i thanked her so much for helping me.

Now nearly 5 years smoke free.

Good luck

ANDY
