Life 2D 4h longer (egh, might need a pension after all)
The cheat was the other day. I took 2 puffs and it tasted so disgusting I put it out. I then proceeded to run the pack under the cold tap and throw it away. The reason for the relapse was the sudden depression at my weight gain, distended abdomen, discomfort and the fact that I'm fast running out of clothes that fit (including my track suit).
Is there a slimming forum? I'm on day 2 of that :p. I'm sure it's mostly water...

Notching up milestones, and one calendar month is an awesome milestone, is a great opportunity to look back at the distance one has covered in this journey to freedom.
Ha...the good thing about quitting early or very late in the year is that February is such a short month and therefore the derived satisfaction of notching another month milestone comes around quicker. Look for the good in your journey cos it's there.
Remember Hunger, Anger, Lonely, Tired (HALT) and apply that to your thoughts...then you'll see nico trying to blind side your and your plans for a better, fitter future you.
By being aware of HALT you're taking care of your basic needs and thus reducing the chances of relapsing.
It can be applied to any habit you're attempting to break and if you wish to read up more about it here's a link to What Winners Do.
There's a number of tools that one can use to help them along the way on this journey. Many members quote NOPE which stands for Not One Puff Ever. These tools just help smooth out the journey of quitting.
