day 80: now on day 80 only another 10 days... - No Smoking Day
day 80
A BIG well done to you! Only a few days behind you.....
Know exactly what you mean by being tempted to throw in the towel...but aren't glad you haven't
chucking in the towel
yes very glad i have not given into temptation glad you haven't either. another 90 days from now and i am hoping it'll be all plain sailing .got a way to go yet though. have a nice day
Hi pfaber
Like to read your daily posts, glad you're still going strong. Also had a few throw in the towel moments but I'm realising now that once I've sat them out I'm thinking "thank god I didn't cave in, I really don't ever want to smoke again"....it's an improvement on previous brain activity:
Timeline of Pip's brain activity during quitting:
I wan't to smoke
I wan't to smoke just one fag
I wan't to smoke just till next week
I wan't to smoke and I'll quit again in the New Year
I wan't to smoke in secret no one will know  (Durr Smelly ??)
I wan't to smoke and I wan't one now!
I wan't a good excuse to smoke
I wan't ANY excuse to smoke
I wan't to smoke I can't do this quitting lark anymore
I wan't to be a part time smoker
I wan't to just smoke at work to releive the stress
I wan't to smoke I am stressed all the time
I wan't to smoke I miss it
I wan't to stop thinking about smoking
I WON'T smoke
I DON'T wan't to smoke
I DON'T smoke
I'm glad I don't smoke anymore..................
My brain is much happier now
Well done pfaber, nearly 3 months now
And trust me, chucking in the towel wouldn't have been worth it.
