just joined the group. I start to salivate just thinking about having a cig! I used champix for 2 weeks, now doin it on my own. thinking of having one consumes me. on the upside i keep thinking that if i have 1 now all the torture will be for not. theses last 2 days have been awful:eek:

take it from me once you quit smoking even for one day your smoking days are over. you will always wonder what it could have been like to quit. so stick with your quit cos youll only want to stop again.if you start..you'll only want to stop again if you start youll only want to stop again..............

Very true mash. And that 'just' one leads back to 'just' 30 or 40, believe me I know And then you think 'why did I do it?'. So, EverFaith, salivate at the thought of quitting, not the thought of a cigarette.

Had my last (hopefully) ciggie about ten minutes ago. Hubby and I have had so many false starts, but now I have found this little community, I feel more confident.

Stick with it! It's so hard but you start to feel the benefits pretty quickly,it's just the emotional connection with the cigs that makes you feel you need one. Everyone on here is so supportive and the comments keep you strong,just pop on here when you're feeling weak and you'll see how this community will work wonders for you. Curly.x

Your support is great....we all know that we shouldn't smoke listening to ex smokers list the reasons to not smoke is great! Today is a little easier....still thinking of having one, I won't I love to have this support. Strength in numbers I like that "salivate over not having a smoke"
