Hi Lizzie,
So glad you have had a good day today and that you have completed your first week. I burst into tears when I reached the one week mark I think it was with relief because that first week is so stressful:rolleyes: and because I finally felt I was getting somewhere with stopping smoking. As you know, I have had some very difficult days since then but I am still here (touch wood!!). Since completing that first week I tend to average about 1-2 bad days a week, and have had some very good days when I really enjoyed not smoking. Even the bad days get easier as I know I have got through them before and I can do it again. So no cigs for me please but all donations of Mars Bars greatly appreciated
Keep going strong,
Zoe
Thank you Zoe.
I always enjoy reading your posts, they are funny and heartfelt.
I haven't had a Mars bar for years...might try one tomorrow.
mmmm...chocolate, essential for happiness!
Have a good day tomorrow

Well Done Lizzie for completing Day 8...
Your a few days ahead of me (my day 5 today ) so I follow your post with great interest, stay strong cause your one of my pace makers in this long race.....
Lizzie
Indeed very well done!
The "Mars Bar" is a great idea!
I find that as adults we sometime's forget the simple things in life, as in the pleasure of eating a chocolate bar
Whats even worse is that as smokers / ex smokers we have lost the "Taste" for the so called simple things, I remeber as a child BEGGING my mom for fruit but as an adult and smoker I never touched fruit or fruit juice twas all about caffiene and nicotine. (I once again LOVE fruit)
Lizzie go buy that mars bars and savour every mouthful, you deserve it.
Wait the fruit will be coming next, and again Well Done!!
Stay Strong
