It seems people get all sorts of symptoms from quitting, so I was wondering what everyone has suffered from and for how long?
I think in the first week I managed to have every singe one under the sun  but nearing 4 weeks they are all gradually going...

Think the worst for me was feeling teary. It didn't last long but feeling near the edge for the time wasn't nice.
Oh and biting my cheek and tongue chomping hard on NRT gum too.
Oops, forgot the nightmares when I left my patch on 24h and only getting 3-4 hours sleep :S

Mine is definitely the lack of sleep I am getting at night. I now take my patch off 2 hours before I think I will go to bed and dont have a lozenge at least an hour before bed................Last nights lack of sleep as I previously posted was down to the damn cats that live near me

Hi both, I'm not on patches but the sleeplessness is definitely something I have suffered with!
And for anyone who has just quit - please do not be put off by what we are saying about the symptoms, it just helps talking through them and the main thing is that they WILL go after a little while so keep going!!

Insomnia too, I felt like a science experiment for a few weeks
Worst though for the scare factor, was heart palpatations and a slightly sore chest, about three weeks into the quit. Lasted about a week.
Come to think of it that was Christmas time, and my mother-in-law was with us...I think she stayed for about a week!

Palpitations, horrible.
I had it where my heart would race, up to about 110 beats a minute and stay there for a bit before getting back down, it felt horrible.

Have you made sure that you are drinking loads of water? I know that means getting up for the loo loads which wont be good for your back.

Wow, glad I read this thread now! Day 33 for me and horrible heart palpitations today (first time ever)......sounds like it's quite common though!
The worst withdraw sympton for me is the mood swings (angry then tearful etc).

For me;
Palpitations of a night- racing heart etc- blame it on the patch which I take off 3 hours before bed now and drink loads of water.
Ulcers!!!!! Tons of mouth ulcers!
Dreams - really vivid.
But I too many positives, which outweigh the negatives no end!!
