at last day one has come around again, just spent 5mths smoking like a factory after starting again after a 6 wk quit in march. Have been putting it off and cant wont do that anymore. im so glad this forum is still here,it helped me massively last time. Feeling optimistic and motivated. have learned some hard lessons the main one being an ex smoker cannot have just one cigarette, it leads to full blown addiction again very quickly. Another lesson iv learned is that you might tell yourself that you've stopped before ,you can do it again, sounds logical but its not that simple. Iv found it really hard to stop again , have been wanting this day to come for 5 mths and have quit about 10 times, each time lasting about an hour, each failed attempt another blow to my confidence. So today iv said enough is enough, just rip it up and start again. theres no such thing as a successful smoker or even a happy one, well not for me anyway.
If not now ,When?

Hey Mash
Welcome back, you know the drill....one minute, hour day at a time.
Concentrate on the basics and the rest will fall into place...
Well done Mash for keeping trying. I know it sometimes takes several attempts because I've tried it myself on many occasions. The importance is to keep the faith that you CAN and WILL make it, so long as you never give up trying to give up!

Welcome back Mash. Two lessons that I have learned as well. More than once, unfortunately.... Let's make it really stick this time though!
