Hi Boo really don't want to smoke. Doing some exercise and joined slimming world but can't cope with this diet thing did loose 4lb in first week but don't like not eating what I want, I'm not a big eater anyway but the weight sort of crept on. Thanks for the reply.
I have put on 27 lbs in my quit; I like you used to eat whatever I wanted to and never fluctuate more than 3 - 5 lbs, including my "winter fat". I now feel like a whale. I will not feel or look very good in a pair of shorts and god forbid a short sleeved t or a bathing suit. It is now quite warm and I am decked out in jeans and a long sleeved long T and a jacket overtop. All in black of course; rather slimming!
Boo, congratulations on your large loss. How on earth did you manage a 10 mile walk.
I am eating rather well this last month or so, with not too much junk and am still gaining weight.
I suppose it is metabolism; and with me, unfortunately, the dreaded age. On past quits (which never lasted more than a few weeks) I never gained any weight. As much as I hate my full figured bod (BLOB) I don;t want to go back to smoking

my daughter goes to a school out of our area which is about 3.5-4 miles one way so I walk to school have to leave at 7.30 in the morning little boo scoots along on her new little scooter i have a double buggy which is nice and heavy so contributes towards my walking workout then walk back home then that evening walked to my local asda and back which is at minimum 2-3 miles there and back
and with every aching step i am thinking of the pictures snapped of me on holiday which i hated lol
but i am not smoking and thats most important
OH says i dont care wat u look like as long as we stay smoke free , then i am saying why u saying i am fat haha bless him he cant win
That's wonderful; I wish I had your drive. I think about walking, I really do. I will however, get out in the garden today and rake leaves and maybe find my pumpkin seeds and plant them.
Thank's everyone for replying. I am going to do more exercise Boo, I do the wii fit but am going to walk or jog more. Karri I am 2 stone overweight now, one stone I could cope with didn't really show but 2:eek: my clothes getting tight. Well eating healthy also I have to put up with it better than smoking as you say.
