Bec,

A lot of people feel tired when changing their lifestyle. If I were you, I would try to burn off this tiredness by taking extra naps during the day, or going to bed a bit earlier at night if possible. It will pass in time, but yeah, it is part of the quitting routine for many... Nothing to worry about.

Alex.

Hi Becxx

I wanted to add in that when i originally quit back in Oct last year i remember feeling really tierd all the time at the beginning but found that as i was told its our bodies getitng rid of all the nasties and adjusting with extra oxygen etc that is now able to get through in our bodies. I also found that taking a good strong multi vitamin helped me too, my one was Berocca soluble and that gave my body a boost when it needed it most.

Whilst its not ideal it is our bodies healing and it does get easier. I think mine was a couple of weeks with the tierdness etc but it soon went and now look at me. Take care and good luck with your quit, you can do this just take it one minute, one hour, one day at a time :)

Yep, I'm on day 4 and noticed I can barely keep my eyes open by 10pm, but I am awake at 4-5am which never happened when I smoked.

Glad someone said this only lasts a couple of weeks....

I had about a month of feeling tired and spaced out. If you can, better to get to sleep. Besides, if you sleeping you are not craving so better all round i say. Those first few weeks can be rough, sleep through as much of it as possible.

Hey there - tiredness does fade - mine lasted about 2 half weeks - just got back into a nice sleeping pattern and everything is ok.

Best tip I would say is avoid napping during the day and a warm drink (horlicks) or summet b4 bed - helped me no end

best of luck
