I actually answered your comment on my thread earlier but I don't suppose you'll be going back to that now.
Just wanted to say hi and well done really.
I've been doing ok but found the weekend and the beginning of this week a bit harder for some reason.
I mustn't complain though because I really feel it's been pretty good so far. No really bad moments or terrible cravings. Just the odd urge that goes away after a few minutes.
Remember to stay in touch and let me know how you're getting on.

Hi Kitkat, you say about the mody thing, i had a huge argument with my boyfriend the other day, and over nothing, i have been getting days of waking up moody too, but i just tell everyone i am moody, and i normally snap out of it, i just think about why i am doing this, the reason behind me being moody, and that it is a good thing, as it must be getting out of my system. Keep up the good work we are at a similar timescale, so lets work together with this one, you can always SHOUT ON HERE, if that helps!
its so good to know that my moods are normal tia maria, & yeah be soo good to make a gang from june quitters what should we call ourselves? (what was ure quit day tiamaria & what are u using) sorry with ure name of which is fab keep thinking of black russian a fave drink long time ago became immune to the stuff lol....
& garali when was ure quit date? & what u using? & yeah i do agree it is a mental thing & that what im working on my own stupid mind lol
& ben i just read ure previous post, but thought i would reply in here, you seem to be doing really well .. i tried cold turkey too not too long ago only lasted 2 days i was a mess!!! i have to agree the patches are helping but its still flipping hard at times... & i hated saturday too.. infact im dredding this saturday already...i do also feel am i heading for a fall coz the more i read i get the impression its quitting again when come off patches & the thought of that scares me coz im just about managing on them.. oh well time will tell.
while im worrying i should be proud of the fact i havent smoked & so should we all nicorette gum, patches, inhalors wotever its us who is making the choice to not buy the cigarettes so therefore we are doing very very well
My method of quit is to use patches which have helped a great deal, so much so that after having read a lot of posts on this forum I am going to start reducing the strength as of Sunday. So this will be the next objective in what will be a very succesful battle.
Current quit counter says.................
Gary - Free and Healing for Thirteen Days, 21 Hours and 14 Minutes, while extending my life expectancy 23 Hours, by avoiding the use of 278 nicotine delivery devices that would have cost me £73.63.
my last ciggie was on 26th june at 4:30. the wierd thing was i set my quit date as the 29th, but using microtabs, i felt they replaced ciggies really well!! they give you the "hit" in the back of the throat, which you dont get with the patch. not only that but because it feels like you have had about 5 fags in a row, you dont want to smoke. I thought it was just me, but my boyfriend started on them yesterday and he says the same..
Kitkat, dont give up, giving up!! you can do this!! dont let them rule you!! think about your reasons to quit, about the money you will save!!
thanks tia maria i am not gonna give up giving up.. day 10 is over now feel slightly better today although the morning is still moody......im hopeing to keep this happy mood x we doing well too, Youre right we will do this & we are doing it right now this minute x
