Ah! Went cold turkey on Tuesday @ 10 30am after listening to Allen Carr's CDs.

It's very hard. I want a cigarette! Had to come on here to vent!

That is all.

Hello Alf & WELCOME TO THE FORUM :D

You have done 3 days now which is the hardest so well done to you.

Read as much as you possible can, many of us have great links in our siganatures. Read & post on here, we are all travelling on this journey & at various points along it.

At the very beginning I found long, slow, deep breaths helped me over the realy nasty craves as did sipping cold water. You body will be physically free of the nicotine today, how brilliant is that ;)

Tomorrow, you should feel a whole lot better. On days 1-3 of cold turkey, you're battling on 2 fronts. Nicotine withdrawal & the actual smoking habit.

After today, the nicotine withdrawal will die off & things will get easier. You're doing great, keep going!
