Well i just can't put up with these patches for one more day. Been having a severe reaction to them and my body is so itchy and sore i just can't stick another one on. Ripped patch of in temper about 1pm, i do fancy a fag now but is that just in my mind i dont know? I have a inhalator im gonna use that instead. It really helps to come on here and express my feelings to other people who are in my boat

Sorry to hear you''ve not got on with the patches. There's plenty of other NRT you could use if the inhilator doesn't do it for you either. Why don't you talk to your nurse/chemist and see what else they could prescibe you. Or go CT and use this place, as many others have. It's a fab place for a moan

Same reaction with clear patches , but they put me on nicotinell 24 hr and no problem with them so with them and inhaler i have just managed day 8 maybe a different patch will help you too

i had really bad reaction to the patches (it was the glue i had a reaction to) and the itchiness would last for days at a time so i stopped using them all together and just used the nicorette inhaler

my quit nurse did want me to try some different treatments but i didnt bother as the inhaler seemed to help with the cravings
