Day 2 not bad at all, bit of tossing and turning last night not too sure if its the patch ?
16 hour patch anyone had any problems when starting out like this - any advice appreciated ?

Well done on getting to day 2, thats great :). Have a look through old posts and see if there are any there that may help you while your trying to find the answer to the patch question. Make sure that you also keep on posting my friend.
The patch, im not sure on because i have never used them but i do know , i think that your meant to take off at bedtime and put back a fresh one in the mornings. If your still struggling then maybe a lower dose patch might work, See your HCP and see if they can offer any more advice. Anyhow, someone with more knowledge will be along soon and stay strong and keep up the good work.

hopefully this will get better aftera few days , Not as many cravings as i expected TBH , its chaning the routine thats the hardest part I think at the moment

You will get there honestly. You have made some big decisions in the last few days and they will be worth it. You have stopped smoking and thats the biggest bonus of all. We are all in the same boat as you on here, we are all at different stages too but by reading through the posts on here hoepfully you will be better prepared and be able to get through it bit by bit. Rome was not built in a day and so dont try and rush things or even wish time away, you can do this because we are all here for you.
If your finding it hard or just want to shout good or bad things then please do as there is always someone here to listen to you.
Whatever you do dont let the nicodemon back in, your stronger and better than that.
Take care my friend and do keep posting, reading and making new friends. Also there is a group for November quitters, why not join it and you will have others on there that have decided to give Nic the boot at the same time as you, its more support too and you can make some really good friends.

When I used patches before it toook about a week I think for things to settle down. I had quite vivid dreams which disturbed my sleep. Saying that though I have quit cold turkery now and am still having some real vivid dreams so it may just be stopping it self that causes them.
Yes, changing routine is the hardest bit, thats why the patches help get past that bit rather than having to deal with both aspects at the same time.

I started on the 16 hour patch today.I am on day 1 so havnt gone to bed yet.I had to take my patch off a tea time I felt so sick.I hope I dont have weird dreams and disturbed sleep.I will let you know tommorow.
