Morning Daizy
Well done for not giving in, Monday mornings aren't everyone's favourite day of the week
Do NOT smoke, instead go for a walk and enjoy the fresh air you should be noticing lots of little changes occurring in your body, also read read and read. Lots of info in my signature.
Lastly pamper yourself a little with all that free time you now have.
When I quit on patches in the past I changed from 24 hr to 16 hr, just give yourself a bit of space, the first few days are quite challenging but stay firm it does get easier and you do begin to notice all the positives quickly, not least of which is the money and no longe needing to schedule fag breaks into every single thing you do.
Onwards and upwards and Never Take Another Puff (NTAP).
The sleep thing happens even when you don't use patches. I went cold Turkey and still had terrible trouble sleeping at the beginning. I was told it was due to the increase of oxygen in your bloodsteam making you be unsettled and have wacky dreams.
finished day 2 (or almost) its not been too tough , and whilst my mind has been on other things i have actually forgotton about it - excellent.
the worst bits have been when ive got nothing to do for a little while, like waiting for dinner to finish cooking - that is a prime smoking time , ive been reading my book - or trying to during these moments - but that can be difficult in a very busy house, has anyone got any suggestions of what i can do ,but not do - if you know what i mean?
anyways sure i will get used to it - day 3 tomorrow
omg - thats what i spend just about the entire day doing anyway , with my bunch
but thanks for the sugestion - maybe ill try a little lighter reading - will have a look in the libary tomorrow -cookbooks? or maybe craft things which i could do without thinking about - gonna look into it
