Yes quitting is hard. I did not quit cold turkey but there are several members that have quit cold turkey. Keep in touch and stay strong 💪🏻

You will find it hard because it is. I smoked from 14 to 43 and stopped cold turkey. I too found it very hard, there is also no perfect time to stop. It is going to be hard, you're addicted to a substance called nicotine which is highly addictive.

Good luck ......

Hey Gazzab; congrats on quitting smoking. Day two is naturally difficult since it's so early. Try to distract yourself as much as you can by keeping busy or training your mind to think on different things. Just acknowledge the feeling, embrace that it's going to be tough the first few weeks, and be kind to yourself. And keep asking yourself ... why did you decide to quit? Keep thinking on the reason. You can do this.

Welcome Gazzab. It is hard, but it is worth it. If you stick with it, you will realize. Read some of the pinned posts to deal with the change.

Will do!

Thanks for the advice!

Hello Gazzab, something that help me the first days was the Linden blossom tea, it helps you calm down the cravings and also help with the anxiety of the first days.

It is just a little bit helpful considering all the things you will go through these days, but everything that helps counts as long as you stay puff free.

Good luck my friend,
