ok , i have quit , i read the book by Allen Carr, but i pinch the odd one from my wife, ( i know its stupid of me ) today so far i havn't had any,

The site is very easy to use just look on the day how many days you have been off cigs and write somthing.

Hi Ken - you pop on here as often as you like. Use the forums to share your quitting experience, support others and shout for help when you need it.

We are all a great bunch (well most of us - watch out for .... :p). No joking aside without this place I would still be smoking.

Good luck with you quit Ken and have a go at navigating yourself around the forum, you'll soon find your way around.

As previously mentioned it is quite easy to navigate yourself round here. Keep on posting and letting us know how your getting on with your quit.

If your feeling low let us know and the same if your on a high, just remember take it minute by minute, hour by hour and day by day.

Everyone on here is great, i dont know where i would be without these guys, they are a god send and are helping to keep me sane.

Hi all!

My firstn postn here.

My problem seems to be that I don´t want to quit. This is so stupid I can´t believe I´m saying this!! But, honestly, why else do I have so little willpower even taking Champix? I´ve been on it for 2 weeks and it seems my addiction has beaten the medication, instead of the other way around.

You have to be in the right frame of mind to be able to want to "Stop Smoking" even with champix, but the Champix can help you stop too but not everyone will without the extra "Wanting to do it" feelings.

I would say if your not ready to do stop smonking now then you need to re-evaluate what you do want and when you feel ready then start the process of stopping.

You have to feel right in yourself and do it for the right reasons otherwise i feel that it wont work, i know because i tried a few years ago.

You must actually want to stop smoking or you wouldn't have gone to the trouble of organising the Champix in the first place.

Champix will not stop you smoking, it will only help you to stop smoking.

You are the only thing standing between being a smoker and an ex-smoker.

Your call !!
