Ok so last night the cravings came thick n fast and thought i was going to crack up!! Fortunately nothing in the house to smoke so didnt cave in.
Woke this morning and because my son pinched my alarm clock last night i couldnt set it for 6ish slap on a patch and go back to sleep, so stuck a patch on when i woke up properly instead.
Not sure if it was mind games, but struggled big time.. kept thinking i wasnt getting the nico hit, then remembered i had brought some mini's a while back and so tried one of them.... YUCK and OUCH they tasted awful and really stung my throat so had to spit it out.
I know my hubby's baccy was in his work bag and was very tempted, but told myself to wait until after i have got the boys ready for school!! Well thats a chore anyway of a morning... 12 yr old is up and out the door before me, but the 10 and 5 yr old are sods to get motivated and on Fridays my 2 yr old goes to nursery so its all rush rush rush and go go go and by the time i was ready to go the thought of having a smoke was long gone
Went to my mums for the morning as its her birthday everything was ok, dont even think about smoking when i am out and about, although when my sis in law popped in and gave my mum a beautiful picture of her, my brother and the kids together on there cruise ( my brother died suddenly boxing day ) things got emotional and i could of done with a smoke then!! but nothing on me and mu mum gave up 3 years ago so couldnt anyway!!
Got work later am on a night shift so defo nothing about to tempt me, just looking forward to getting past the week mark, i know i am only two days in, but its just something about that week mark.
Talk soon..... must go on facebook and have a go at bejewelled to keep my hands busy, else i shall ramble on on here lol

Sorry about your brother - you know what's amazing though? I hope you realise that you could give yourself sooo many reasons to smoke from that little post just there but you DIDN'T! It's great! and you should feel very proud of yourself
I used nicorette gum in the beginning but it didnt help until I'd read the instructions (I'm not being condecending here!) cos I didn't know you weren't meant to chew it all of the time. You're meant to chew until it goes a bit tingly and then you sort of leave it to rest on the side of your mouth pressed against your gum. Then when you need another 'hit' you chew hard again till it tingles and move it somewhere else to keep it still.
I don't know if you've actually done this, maybe you have and you still hate it! It's just the gum helped me loooads in the beginning and I would hate to see ppl not getting the full benefit from what they have available to them.
Good for you snow33, you had a lot of little triggers there and as Sofia said you got through them. Watch out for them though, the times when you would definitely have lit up, and maybe deviate a bit from the little routines, just to fool the little bugger sat on your shoulder waiting to pounce when you're a bit low or something. As you've heard before (and perhaps fed up of hearing) it does get easier and better. You wont die not smoking. If you're struggling lass bloody well keep on struggling, this may be the last time you ever have to do it. read something from my links or someone elses. David. xx

lol with this being the umpteenth time of quiting Dave yes i have heard it all before... but i am not fed up of hearing it at all. I use that as a positive to keep me going knowing the fact it will get easier
As for struggling............. i will be struggling on and on and hopefully it will be the last time i do.
Well done on day two Snow...... while you're struggling you're not smoking so that's good, right? and take Davofgy's advice, read the links and understand your quit.
