Hi, well just coming to the end of day 8 and feel awful. Posted on here yesterday and was on top of the world, woke up this morning and feel awful again. Did anyone else feel quite ill when quitting? Not sure if it is something I would have got anyway but started feeling bad the day after I quit. Full of cold again, felt sick all day and sooooo tired, I know it sounds daft but kind of feel depressed too. On the up side though, even though something very small...my little girl fell over coming out of school today, they took us in to patch her up and as she sat on my knee her dress smelt of washing powder!!!!! Not noticed that before apart from when the clothes first come out of the wash so even though small it's to me an achievement:rolleyes: Hope you have all done well today xx

Hi Claire,

Sorry to hear you feel so rubbish today. To be honest I was ill when I quit so not sure if getting ill is to do with the quit but I know a load of people on here got colds and things when they quit.

Try to make sure you get lots of vitamin C, fruit juice and generally take care of yourself (choccy biccies are good too!!). Quitting takes it out of you never mind being ill at the same time so I think its important to be really nice to yourself.

Thats fab about your daughters clothes still smelling of washing powder :)

I hope your cold clears soon and you feel a bit more like yourself.

Well done on your 8 days quit!!!
