Hello fellow quitters,

56 years old with copd-and must stop. so many quits behind me that didnt last.

this time I am so determined, Read loads about quitting on this site - and somehow feel that I have a different slant on how to make this work if I dont want to have an oxygen cylinder as my new best friend.

Ashamed at how I ignored the health signs for so long-addict or just plain stupid?

I know I need lot of support. How many times can you post before you become a pest?

Want to support others too of course when I have a bit experience under my belt!!

:):)

Using patches and inhalators . find the inhalators really good and chew on one when on the phone etc-all the usual times I would light up

good luck everyone out there-and thanks .xx

Hi Skylark

Glad you have decided to quit and i have a feeling this time it will work for you judging by your determination you know it too.....

Post as often as you like chat about anything it doesn't matter it is your quit you enjoy it, join in some of the social groups get to know everyone it helps tons if you join in, helps to have a rant tell everyone how you are feeling and before you know it you are weeks down the line smoke free and helping others with their quit, So Skylark good luck and looking forward to seeing you here each day quitting away like a good un :)
