I'm still to get back to where I was when I messed up last thursday, but things are going smoothly. my crawings have reduced in severerity to low level gnawing, and triggers are becomming more obviously triggers so should be easier to sort out distractions.
Like others have reported, it's getting a heck of a lot easier to get up for work in the morning. and I've just washed my favorite jumper

I jest, but bloomin heck have i been touchy today, and this afternoon I was climbing the wall with cravings. I've had to ask everybody to not talk to me, because noise is making me angry.

lol yer mum will be the real test m8. mine came round yesterday and it was a real test of character
Well this is day 5(12) or something. I know I quit a week ago last sunday then messed up on thursday evening, so actually it might be day 6(12)
My brain hurts, and my IQ's dropped by about 50 points.
oh well, onwards and upwards...
I have 3 days off work as it's the end of the holiday year, so I'm at home today, I figure I'll go round to my parents and see if my push bike hasn't rotten away to nothing.
Annnnnnd that was day 7 since my muck up last thursday PM. Day 12 since formal "I'm quitting" just in case anyone's thinking "hang on, he's having a better time of it"
on the whole, not a bad day. The afternoon has seen a few manageable cravings. I've consumed 3 pieces of 2Mg Gum. The strategy I've developed is to allow myself 5, but use it as and when I get serious cravings.
I managed to fool my body for a couple of hours, by giving it non nicoteen gum, and also chewing the nicorette stuff for several hours past when it loses all flavour.
I've done my calculations for savings and stuff, and I've made an alarming discovery ... I think I was smoking around 30-40 a day.. i was lying to myself that i was smoking "less than 20"
