I would have posted this earlier but unfortunately had to make a unexpected run to Perth and only got back a little while ago.
Well that's three months completed and I enter month four, how do I feel? hmmm, I feel good about what I have achieved but the funny thing is it's hard for me to believe I've gone three month without smoking.
Now all you newbies that are thinking I wish it was me, it can be you! all you have to do is keep going 1 hour at a time, then one day at a time. It will soon turn into a week then weeks, a month and so on. If little ol' me can do it after 52 years then you all can do it, I'm nothing special I'm just someone who wanted to stop smoking and so far so good. I don't think now I will ever smoke again, it's hard guys but it gets easier. Believe me it's well worth it, no coughing, I can breath in the morning, I've got a cold but it's nothing like it was when I was smoking. I can taste my food, my sense of smell has returned, I can walk without panting it's a different life in many, many ways.
Anyways 3 months gone for me and I'm happy happy Jack.

I really feel from the posts you've made that i've made this journey to freedom right there with you. It matters alot that i see your milestone posts on here, because it means youv'e made it, and you really have. I was looking at the forum today and i thought.. 'ang on? jack must be near on his 3 months'.. and sure enough.. i looked.. and it was to the day!!!!
REALLY, REALLY.. pleased to see you making this post, if you hadn't by midnight i would certainly have for you, but you can't beat writing your own!!!
You have come so bloody far with this quit now, been through the mill, come out the other side and here you are, 3 months now quit.. and if i could trade my 7 months for your 3 months and do the next months for you, i would.. i so would.. but trust me, time will pass better for you now, especially with the better weather starting soon which means you will be busier with work... time will just fly. It did for me after 3 months i'm sure it will for you too.
Throw open the back door to your house, and just suck in some of that fresh air (even if its city air ;), and toast your 3rd month of freedom fella.
Sorry Jack only just seen this and on my way to bed now, so just a quick but huge well done, and hopefully tomorrow I will get a better chance to tell you how wonderful you are.
Wow, so well done Jack, thats excellent - you do right to be proud and happy. Keep up the good work and remember that little train climbing up the hill, full of the childrens' toys, I think I can, I think I can.

So good on us Jack, keep up the good work and shall we sit down a bit now after all that congering? Love and secret hugs sweetie, take care, so proud of you my love xxxxx Vivienne. xxxx
