Carbon Monoxide Count

I had my carbon monoxide test redone as its 6 months since my last puff down the tube, last time it was 51, yesterday it was 2. I am just so thrilled with myself, nurse said definately a non smoker now as far as she is concerned, I fairly drifted out of surgery I tell you.

As many of you know I have found this quit extremely hard at times and still miss it at times like crazy, but it is getting better, and I am feeling stronger within myself.

I think I now beleive in myself and my ability to do this and that in itself is empowering, but I would never had got this far without all the support I have had along the way from members of this forum, thank you all very much.

Nearly 50 days !!!

  • Hi Dee - well you and I are quit buddies so not long until we both reach the big 50 days. Like you I just want to thank everyone for all the wonderful support - and how although we all have difficult times we are there for each other.

Well done on the carbon monoxide count - my docs don't do that and are absolutely hopeless about supporting people to stop smoking - so without this group I don't think I would have suceeded.
