Carbon Monoxide Count

I had my carbon monoxide test redone as its 6 months since my last puff down the tube, last time it was 51, yesterday it was 2. I am just so thrilled with myself, nurse said definately a non smoker now as far as she is concerned, I fairly drifted out of surgery I tell you.

As many of you know I have found this quit extremely hard at times and still miss it at times like crazy, but it is getting better, and I am feeling stronger within myself.

I think I now beleive in myself and my ability to do this and that in itself is empowering, but I would never had got this far without all the support I have had along the way from members of this forum, thank you all very much.

Leggins AND big knickers are a must when you quit Dee!! I do remember skinny jeans and thongs but I'm going for comfort at the moment.

Anyway I found the cake store, bring the wine Miss 50 days.

Dee your a doll :)

I knew you had it in you to get to the stage where it all began to fall into place and all the struggles become worth it.............

That's a great reading and I'm so pleased for you that finally the cravings are easing up. If lungs could talk and sing yours would have Devon up and dancing right now.

Keep believing in yourself............... 'coz we do :p

Hi Dee - well you and I are quit buddies so not long until we both reach the big 50 days. Like you I just want to thank everyone for all the wonderful support - and how although we all have difficult times we are there for each other.

Well done on the carbon monoxide count - my docs don't do that and are absolutely hopeless about supporting people to stop smoking - so without this group I don't think I would have suceeded.
