Well if I thought it would be easy with Champix I was wrong, however I am still here I feel a little battle bruised but I managed to get through the weekend even though our friend who was staying with us was smoking throughout. He has gone home now so I am hoping that this week will be an easier week

Glad to see you have made it through your mates smokefest..... my friends smoke and i actually feel sorry for them now i know thats a bit mean but if they knew how good i feel now they would quit too... so well done to you Wildcats keeping staying strong

Well done Michelle - it's not easy to keep going when people around you are smoking :mad: and you've done brilliantly to get past this weekend.

I found week 2 difficult, but have just finished week 3 and found it surprisingly easy - probably because I was expecting a repetition of the previous week. I hope you find it's the same for you.

Hi Michelle, we quit the same day and being surrounded by smokers is no picnic! I wish my husband would stop but he is completely against the idea and thinks I'm just being 'flaky' not smoking, and soon I'll be back to normal- grrr.

But, you made it through the weekend, we're on day 12 now so yey! You know, you could make your house a smoke free zone- a friend of mine who stopped smoking a couple of years ago has a smoke free home, and when I went there as a smoker I didn't mind at all, and was happy to respect her house rules. I can't make mine non smokey cos of the old fella, not sure what your situation is, but it's worth thinking about. It's your home...

Anyway, enough of all that malarkey, big super duper fabulosa well done to you for making it to day 12!!
