Im back and Im on day 7...... are all my old quit buddies still out there. I hope everyone as managed to stay quit !!!
I have been sucessful this time because i wanted it bad enough... i didnt before obviously.... Newbies i have this to say to you... and believe me i had tried everyday for about a year with no success.... IF YOU DONT REALLY WANT TO QUIT, IF YOU ARE AFRAID TO CARRY ON YOUR LIFE WITHOUT THEM BECAUSE YOU THINK THEY ARE STILL GIVING YOU SOMETHING, IF YOU FEEL YOU ARE TOO WEAK, IF THE TIME JUST ISNT RIGHT, WHAT EVER THE EXCUSE OR REASON YOU GIVE YOURSELF. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE... SMOKE THE BLOODY THINGS UNTIL YOU KNOW DEEP WITHIN YOURSELF THAT IT IS NOW TIME !!!!
I HAD NOT ONE SINGLE CRAVING THIS TIME ROUND, NOT ONE. BECAUSE ITS TIME !!! I DONT WANT TO TRY AND KILL MYSELF ANYMORE ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT, THATS ALL IT TAKES......
STAYING STRONG FOR GOOD THIS TIME LIKE THE ENGLISH BULL TERRIER

Welcome back EBG and well done so far! I would like to add that this special moment of awarness and understanding that you're done with smoking doesn't come to all! It sure didn't hit me until I was well into my second month or so! My first month was hell yet my quit is quite strong now and has been for months........ I do agree though that a positive attitude like yours will make the beginning of a quit way easier! So good on ya! Good to have you back
I am on day 1 & a half of my last quit so am there with you !!
Gaynor xx
Hi Gaynor
Im looking for a quit buddy Im on day 8 tmr and a bit ahead of you but would like to see us both pull through this. A lot of it really is in the mind. However i had convinced myself that i would more than likely end up with throat cancer as my throat always feels like hell, my voice had deepened and was raspy. You know what Gaynor i dont want it and thats been enough to make me stop !!!! You have COPD ... thats a reality ... make it enough to make you stop !!!!

Hi Bellablue
Thanks for the welcome back..... I know the awareness moment doesnt come to all, if it did my friend would still be on this earth But it is true we either want to carry on killing ourselves or we dont... SIMPLE !!!
Are any of the others still around, i will have to have a scan on the posts and see if i can find anyone ... RESPECT to you for keeping on quitting.
Welcome EBT. I'm sure you'll find many new faces on here from when you quit previously, theres some really nice folk on these forums.. all after the one same goal too... to stay smoke free and be quit from nicotine.
Good luck to you and it would indeed be great if you link up with someone as quit buddies.. its a system that works.
Here's to you.. and this quit.. and all the success you are going to have with it.. 'both of you'
