Ok have had a non smoking friend round tonight and am considering driving to the 24 hr garage to buy some fags even though I've had a drink.....

It will pass, just hang in there, imagine how you would feel after you stubbed it out, you would feel a failure and the inital high feeling of the fag would very soon be canceled out by the feelings of regret and guilt.

Can I mention, if I drink red wine then I do not crave a ciggie, however if I drink white I do.

I agree with Chrissy - drink in moderation is for wimps, nope you drink till you cant drink no more and your passed out on the floor somewhere - no way will you want to smoke then.
