Sorry to hear you feel bad on day 7 just hang in there
Feeling dizzy and sick is normal this early in a quit but afraid I don't know about the tongue thing
Click the bottom link in my signature about symptoms you may well find something in there to help you with that theres a lot of different helpful bit on there
Popped to see nurse on way home and apparently my tongue and mouth are renewing themselves and it will get better. Been advised to use antibacterial mouth wash or gargle with salt and water:eek:
Picked up the boys tonight and are looking after them for 10 days so that should keep me out of mischief. They're dogs by the way.
Walked their little legs off tonight, did about 6 miles and it felt so so good and made me feel alive!
Still apprehensive about BBQ on saturday afternoon, its at someone's house so everyone will be in the garden. Maybe I should just pray for rain so we can go in the house. Have reverted back to taking my two tablets just to give me that bit extra support over the next few days.
If anyone has any tips on how to get through a social gathering, please advise.
Well done on your quit so far & glad the nurse put your mind to rest about your tongue LOL.
I always found the thought of a social event was worse than the actual event. When I got there it was never as bad as I thought it would be. I am sure you will be fine, being a newbie quitter I am sure you extra will power will get you through & it will be a breeze (or at least easier than you fear).
