Gums bleeding: hi all ive been quit now for... - No Smoking Day
Gums bleeding
Yes totally normal, there have been a few threads about it in the past. Can't remember why but it does pass.
Hi Peelsecurity
Yes it's perfectly normal lots of folks on here have had it
I didn't but I wear dentures and am having to have them relined according to my dentist it's because when we quit the skin around the gums becomes softer as they get a better and healthier blood supply hope this helps

I also think the gum shrinks as well and my dentist said they are even more vulnerable to problems in the early days after giving up and to be even more careful about sugary foods and drinks.............oh joy!
My biggest gripe is the sensitive teeth, they are driving me nuts!
Oh yes, good old bleeding gums.
I'm into wk 12 of my quit and I still get the feckers:mad:
Done the dentist and hygenist (ooer not the best choice of phraseing :eek on numerous occasions and whilst they're getting better I still get it from time to time.
