Its disgusting. I only had mine in my gob for a couple of minutes and i had to force myself to keep it there that long
It made the inside of my mouth tingle and it really did taste rank
Its probably a good idea to keep chewing them, i reckon if i get a bad craving and chew one of them a fag just wont appeal to me cause thats disgusting
I tried a few brands when I used the gum and that was probably one of the worst. Can you change the brand or as you stuck with that one if they're prescribed?

I was prescribed a type of patch that didn't agree with me and they prescribed a different one so you maybe able to do same gum wise?
Could you try a lower strength one or does that not affect the flavour?!?
Those boots ones were quite nice!
Im not sure actually. They have given me the strongest ones.
One thing thats confusing me is. If i would of stayed quit on the 1st Jan surely by now the nurse would of cut the patches down to a lower dose?
Although ive only been quit since the 4th Feb this time, i have only smoked for 9 days in total this year, the rest has just been failed attempts and the days i was smoking i wasnt smoking as much as i was before i started trying to quit so surely my body wont be able to hack to much nicotine now as it would of done? Im only asking because i am on the strongest patches and the strongest gum.
Maybe try a lower dose of one or the other and see how you get on. There's no point having more nicotine than you need, but then there's no point rushing to cut down and struggling. I reckon it's probably trial and error.
No i get what your saying but did you get what i was saying
I think so! But did the nurse get what you were saying??
It's not an exact science, so just because a nurse has given you one strength doesn't make it necessarily the right one for you. Not that I'm saying your nurse is wrong, not at all, just that it must be difficult for them to work out who needs what.
