Hello and welcome to the forum,
Well done on getting to day 5.
Try to see quitting as gaining health wealth and control rather than making a sacrifice. You'll find that the quit is easier the more you understand nicotine addiction. The links in my signature are worth a browse for inspiration and information.
Post often.

I am not seeing it as a sacrifice, of course it's about the health and wealth but every one knows that why should i have to say it
Hi Jodie
Welcome to the forum and well done on the decision to quit possibly one of the most important you will ever make and you will be losing nothing but you will regain control of your life and that has to be good
You will find all the help and support you need on here as we all help each other just like a family we are here for you every step of the way cheering the good days and sympathiseing with the bad but the good far outweigh the bad
Read the posts on here you will find a lot of tips and advice and in the signatures of a lot you will find links to other sites just click on them Here are 2 I find very good to start you off whyquit.com and woofmang.com Read, read and then read some more as the more you read and learn about why you smoked and about your addiction the easier your quit will be
Day 5 and doing really well glad you are not seeing it as a sacrifice
Good Luck
Marg

Thanks Stevie,
I think i am finding it easier as no one else around me smokes so not to tempted, untill i went out sat night and just smelling it was hard but i puffed on my inhaler while people smoked and it worked fine, got few dodgy looks, but i can handle that. i also drink loads more water to try and stop the cravings has that help any one elses
Stopped smoking for good 11/03/2009.
25years old, 10-15 a day for past 10 years.
Tried Champix didnt work for me, now on inhaler
Take it easy
