This is going scarily well...

I thought I'd probably want to cave in the second my wife went out to teach. But no! I'm sat here munching a box of Cadbury's Fingers, drinking tea and playing Tetris quite happily. 3 lozenges so far since 8.30am including exposure to some situations I thought would be tough to face - long-ish regular drive, walking past my usual smoking haunt (outside my usual lunch place), the hot drinks I didn't dare to have yesterday. 7 hours off the 48 hour mark - and actually wanting to make it now. Yay! How are the other 2 dayers doing?

Well done! i also thought the same as you at 2 days "This is going scarily well" , you may be a lucky one like me so far, im now at 14 days and still find it easy.

Keep it up and you'll soon be at a fortnight!

Wooh! Fingers crossed. Seems unlikely though, after the lung-trashing blitz I've been on for the last few years.

NOTICE TO ALL 2/3/4-dayers - GO UP TO THE BATHROOM, RIGHT NOW, LOOK IN THE MIRROR, AND STICK OUT YOUR TONGUE! I've been cleaning my teeth every 4 or 5 hours as an alternative to mints/lozenges. I have got a pink tongue! Even after less than 48 hours the syrupy white/brown residue and scum has ALL GONE.

This is most exciting! (Can you tell?)

Good thanks! I, like you have not found it that heard this time round (apart from this morning) but I'd better not jinx it. I've been through hell and back on my decade and a half of quit attempts, but this time...just...a bit easier. I'll meet you on the day 3 section tomorrow, or else <---joking :)
