I had my last puff last night about 11:30.. Went to bed and all was fine.
Woke up about 9am did not want a cig. I went all day until about 9pm and I had a puff I am so upset with myself.. I just could not help it.

We have all been there.... truly so don't beat yourself up.... instead learn WHY you had a smoke and be prepared for next time.... did you keep the fags around? Did you get a terrible urge.... all good Q's to ask yourself and then plan to be prepared.... read up on here.... lot of people have been successful and they have great advice..... be prepared next time, don't give it a half-attempt..... you don't want to do day 1 over and over :eek: You can do this and we will be here for you! Good Luck!!
Never mind Tracy just pick yourself up and get back to your quit. Oh yes, and , throw those cigs away, clear your home of any reminders and read, read, read. Come on here to rant and rave by the time you have finished on here the craving will have gone. As Bella said, we have all been there and we are all here to help each other.
You can do this, you know you can.
All the best

Thank you for all your advice. I did have one in the house that i alwasy use to keep for a dire emergency. It is gone now as I smoked it, and felt really bad..
I am going to stay on track. I don't want to be the slave to a cigarette any more. I have been smoking for over 20 years now. I am going to be 46 this year and I want to be free of that noose around my neck. I want to be healthy look healthy and stay healthy.
I am so glad I found this site. I know I will be using it for on a regualr basis now.
I want to say thank you to everyone here.
Tracy

Hi to the two Traceys! I agree, dust yourself down, don't dwell on the past, look forward and understand why you want to be smoke free. Once the chains are off its the best feeling in the world.
This is a terrific link to read.
