Another milestone done. I'm hitting the gym constantly and trying to curb the food / fag craves during the day.
I'm still in a chicken / egg situation there. I don't know if I transfered the fags to food or fags hid the food cravings - whatever I'm tryingnot to give in to them.
I'm drinking about 6 pints of water at work a day and feeling so much better. My dietition said that over 80% of people in the UK are chronically dehydrated and even if we are not exercising we should be drinking about 8 pints a day. Exercise should add another 2 or 3. I must admit - regardless of how hard I push myself at the gym now, I'm never sore the next day and that is because I'm properly hydrated.
Anyway got another test to come - I'm going on a cheapo holiday with my sister next weekend to Tenerife for a bit of sunshine & shopping. My sister is a smoker who wants and needs to give up and she said she hopes to start by being with me a non-smoker for a few days to get her going. I'm more worried about the food but there you go.
Apart from that my husband is still buying the baccy - I'll bring him some back. And I continue to sell my stash, not scared of that anymore.
The overall feeling is that I will not go back to smoking for the forseable future (like years) but you can never say never.
