Rant away it's good for the soul that's my excuse anyway my rant today first for a while is pig ignorant people who insist on blowing smoke in my face when they know I have quit grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr swear i'll do them a mischief one day well done in month 4/5 room I went there when I started month 4 figured I was entitled feel we are really getting there now
As I have said before Tony - you are a real inspiration. And possibly quite realistically - a life saver.
I have had the same debate with smokers about cancer - most notably my husband. He will say that if you're going to get cancer then you will - whether you smoke or not.
Well I'd like to think that if I was a smoker - wouldn't you? The nico-demons would certainly have you believe that was true. And yes I lost a lovely friend at Christmas to cancer and she never smoked in her short life.
BUT - I can tell you of far more people who have died due to cancer and they were smokers. The last person I knew to have died was the landlady of a local pub. She died of lung cancer in her forties and yes, she was a heavy smoker!
I really want to live to enjoy my retirement, I want to be fit and healthy enough to enjoy it and I don't want to be in the situation where the doctor has diagnosed me with cancer and I'm thinking 'why oh why didn't I quit when I had the chance?'

Hi Tony - no I haven't been fishing yet. I am really looking forward to getting out there though. I went to a game fair last weekend at Shugborough Hall and spent a good part of the day looking at the fishing stands! I am still waiting for the weather to warm up a bit though!!
