Well, there never will be a wrong time to quit, there is always just the 'right' time. The only thing that stops most smokers, is they just don't know it yet.
Glad you've seen the light early though, and if you need any more convincing, i have have a friend who started smoking at 14 while in school, and is still smoking now at the age of 39, he has now for the last at least 5 years been saying constantly he is going to give up soon, and he's seen me quit them now, and he's still talkin about it, just not doing it.
So good for you, quit early you've too much life in ye to waste it lining the pockets of corporations that earn billions from all teh smokers around the world.

16 years old and quitting already, brilliant! Admittedly I didn't start until I was 19 but I wish I never had and when I think of the amount of money I literally burned its crazy!
Good luck and post often, keep hold of the hatred of the habit and remember that by quitting you are no depriving yourself, you are freeing yourself s=from the clutches of the addiction.
You have some good reasons there to quit while young
Remember them and if/when you hit a bad day they'll really help you to fight of the demons
