Well done on three days - excellent achievement !!
Smoking will be on your mind alot especially for the first week or so , its a good idea to keep active in other areas during these times.... try excercising or tidying the house just something that will keep you amused and stop your mind from wandering to smoking. As the days pass your cravings and thoughts about smoking will happen less and less.
i assume you have be looking around the forum?
If you have you will have seen links to external sites that have valuable information that will help you stay quit . there is an online program at ffsonline.org that you should go through, its free and it helps you understand why you smoked and helps educate you into having the right mindset for giving up. It starts for people who havent given up but as you have already you have a head start on the whole process.
Glad you have joined the forum , there are some great people here with excellent advice .
If you ever feel the urge to smoke come on here first and post your feelings , hopefully by that time the craving will have gone

I know exactly what you mean, weird how we thing about smoking more when we dont smoke lol, but hang in there hun it does start to ease off, im at the end now of my 2nd week and have to say that i do not think of ciggys as much as what i did in the first week.
Bit up and down and the moment. One minute I think I will never be able to do it and the next minute I think I will do it no matter what! Got through 3rd day though. This is the first time in all my attempts at quitting that I have not had a ciggy or smoked a dog-end (yes I admit it lol) or even had a puff so I may be onto something this time.
That is quite normal, but you are doing brilliant.

I think you are onto something this time, stay stron and you won't ever need to go though the early days ever again. BTW I think most of us have had failed attempts where we ended up smoking a dog end, yuk
Hey Annie, you should definitely stick around the forum and keep posting, letting us know how you do. The people here are fantastic and always have something encouraging and constructive to say. Even those like yourself who are currently in the process of quitting will flood you with support at this time when you need it most.
Good luck, and let us know how you're getting on! You've made the right choice!
