didnt give up on my first day couldnt get to my pc it crashed on me, so couldnt keep you updated, anyway it went well not a single fag yippee, but god did i want one, more so when i came home from work but i didnt give in i kept my self busy.
Into my second day and it as not been as bad as the first day I have saved £13.20 by not smoking 56 cigarettes. My Quit Date: 07/12/2008 22:45

This is so hard its the hardest day to press, :mad:ive come on here tonight just to keep my fingers busy and hope and pray you guys can give me some strong advise, i know its will power and all that and i really dont want to smoke ever again but its driving me crazy,one thing that keeps me going is, i keep looking on my quit meter to see how much cash ive saved because i bought the wife a car and it needs paying for now if you no what i mean :eek:

Instead of trying to fight the craving, why not try writing down how you feel? In this way, accept the craving and describe it. Perhaps that will help it to pass, many people do find that actually focusing on it helps it to be dissmissed more easily.
If all else fails... a craving WILL pass whether or not you smoke. They all do. Everytime. Remembering that may help.
Always remember that a cigarette will not help any situation. The situation will still be the same and you just smoked... it's a pointless waste of time and money.

Well day 5 is here and feeling a lot better then i did yesterday thanks for the support, i will keep at it. StuartH GREAT advice
