I'm having all of my wisdom teeth out next month and, in trying to avoid any complications afterwards, have quit smoking. Has made me feel a bit sad that I couldn't do it sooner for heath or financil reasons, but am glad I've finally taken the plunge
My odd excuse for quitting: I'm having all of... - No Smoking Day
My odd excuse for quitting
I had that done under general aesthetic when I was 19. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as I'd expected, didn't swell up much and it wasn't that painful.
The worst bit was a sore jaw after the operation due to the mouth being clamped open and eating wasn't much fun at 1st, avoid peanuts they get stuck in the holes.
At that age I didn't smoke regularly, and I didn't smoke while it healed.
Just don't do what I did and start again afterwards!
All the best with it.

How funny!
Its a great excuse to give up!! I had mine out 26 days ago and that was my reason! You'll be fine!! fingers crossed for you - And remember, dont rinse too much for the first few days!!
Stephfriend,
How are you getting on now?
If you've managed to stay quit, it'll be nearly 2 weeks by now!
