hey , well done
dont know about your shakes and spasms but your feeling light headed coz your breathing in air! and not the crap in ciggies!
Well done Sue, so glad your doing great.
Keep drinking the water, Best wishes with your quit.
well done u - its probably your hand missing the action of liftin a ciggie to ur mouth!! gettin a bit twitchy lol
Sue if there are any issues that you are concerned about regarding your health you really need to check with your GP - although people may have experienced similar feelings on her it is always best to be on the safe side.
Also, when I used to use the patches I used to stick them either at the top of my leg or on my bum - you pants help to hold the patch on also as some people do have probs with the patches coming off.
well done on making it to day two by the way (I just posted on the wrong thread)

Hi Sue,
Well done on getting to day 2...it's nearly done
The light-headedness is part of the early process of quitting where your brain gets more oxygen instead of stinky nicotine pollution. This gives you a feeling as though you taken...erhm...drugs and stuff. There you go...crazy dreams at night and being a stoner during the day. It doesn't get any better for a legal hit
Don't know anything about spasms in the arm, but mind and don't put the patches on the same parts of your arms. If you are prone to spasms whilst using the patches I'd possibly drawback from using your arse

Thanks for your comments everyone, after having my tea of fish and chips i could gladly have a ciggie,it hasnt really bothered me till now and i really want one but im not going to, i feel like i"ve gone to long without one to give in now even tho its only day 2. I"ve even cut down my cups of tea which i havent missed to my suprise.Oh yeah and i checked out on another sight that these patches can cause muscle spasms.
Sue - well done! I know that everyone here will support you to the hilt!! Believe me - I've reached 7 months today!!!
Just don't set your goals too high - 15 minutes without a cig can become 30 minutes - 30 minutes becomes an hour and so on.............
This isn't a race ... it's a personal achievement ............
Go for it.............. It is soooooooooooooooooo worthwhile!!!
:):)
I agree with Pru Pots, Don't look to far ahead. Your doing great
One day at a time.
Good luck with today.
