I have to say, my stomach feels queasy. Straight up. I cannot believe how much smoke I inhaled into my poor lungs with each drag. Its pretty disgusting and I am so glad I watched this video as it really has given me that kick up the butt I have so desperately needed these last few days.
I hope it does the same for you too.
Edit: Also, if you have time, watch the 'Learning how to Inhale' video too. Very informative. I haven't watched all these vids yet but I daresay there is interesting info on each and every video.

No problem Dee. I was just wondering, I don't think I will watch this kind of video daily. I'm worried that it may 'harden' me to it. Kinda desensitise me to the hard hitting images...I don't know...what do you think?
I'm just worried that if I was to overload myself with sad videos, horror videos and whatnot, that they may lose their sharp edge and therefore lose their impact on me. Or at least, to lessen their impact.
Maybe it might be an idea for me to just view them when I am going through a really bad stage? Who knows...

EXCELLENT THREAD.
I have read some of joels library, hadn't checked his links.
there is plenty of material there to help us!!
the link you posted was a terrible reminder, there are many more.
thanks maddy for directing us, is this link in the tips forum????
I've been watching some of the other vids from that site and I have to say it really has opened my eyes re smoking.
I particularly liked the 'I'll be a nervous wreck forever if I quit smoking' video. If what this guy is talking about is accurate then it really does make sense. However, the bit about stress making nicotine leave your body more speedily is a bit worrying! So, going by that, choosing to quit smoking in a time of your life where you are going through alot of upset/stress is not ideal!
The videos make alot of sense though. I have taken to listening to the videos with my earphones in while I peruse the NSD site, or when I'm at other sites (be it smoking related or not). Not all the time, but when I find myself thinking about cigs a bit more than I should, I choose a vid and listen to it. It mostly helps.
I don't think the videos are a miracle cure, but they sure do help give you a boost to keep on keeping on. For me anyway.
Yucky, that's pretty rank. I'm going to have a look at some more vids a bit later - they look very effective and may well help me alomg the way. The mouthpiece alone was enough to put me off! Thanks for showing me x
It sure is Barb. A real eye opener too. Disgusts me to think of all the smoke I have inhaled into my poor chest. Damn. Just imagine all the drags we took from ONE fag alone and then multiply that by however many you smoked in just one day! *shivers* Its pretty bad.
