Well Done Batwoman. I have read Alan Carr too, really inspiring. Think I am going to re-read just to refresh. I've got the DVD too good cos it only takes an hour to watch and then you can just stick on the bits you want to. p.s Day 1 for me too.

ps. would you like me to add you to my signature for Team D Day. xx

first day

Hi batwoman.

started well. dont feel all that this afternoon, finding it really hard.

workmate been good. they went out to smoke just to give me a bit of help,

feeling a bit nervous and sick, knowing there is something missing, will see

how i go. be back on later to see how the others are,

bye for now. and well done:(

Remember always that you are not alone Alan. I try to remember that whenever I experience a dip and think of all your fellow quitters too. They will also experience much of what you are experiencing.

You just have to ride it out and deal with it in the best way you can. Maybe start a blog like I have? I find it gives me something to channel all my thoughts to.

Good luck!

Going on strong, Morning I have survived, controlled all the cigis, home to station, station to work, tea break and lunch. After lunch was bit difficult, compensated with an espresso.

I am winning....

I think this forum's posts gives me a lot of boost. Thanks guys & gals. You are all encouraging us, esp. on our first day!!
