Day one started well so far. Woke up this morning feeling okay, i've got microtabs and patches but after skim reading Alan Carrs book last night i've decided not to use anything.
This is a first time at CT used everything else in the past, but fingers crossed im doing okay.
Cups of T - 3, mints 5, cigarettes 0.
Good luck for everyone stoping today.

Well Done Batwoman. I have read Alan Carr too, really inspiring. Think I am going to re-read just to refresh. I've got the DVD too good cos it only takes an hour to watch and then you can just stick on the bits you want to. p.s Day 1 for me too.
ermmmmmm okish , feel really tired though and very emotional , had a rough morning so that did not help , otherwise still confident in my desicion and u ?

Hey guys, well I was quitting today but started early so I am 4 mins off my first 24 hours!!!!! I have spent a small fortune on keeping myself busy though! I even went to get my hair cut on my lunch break! how is everone doing?

Remember always that you are not alone Alan. I try to remember that whenever I experience a dip and think of all your fellow quitters too. They will also experience much of what you are experiencing.
You just have to ride it out and deal with it in the best way you can. Maybe start a blog like I have? I find it gives me something to channel all my thoughts to.
Going on strong, Morning I have survived, controlled all the cigis, home to station, station to work, tea break and lunch. After lunch was bit difficult, compensated with an espresso.
